People First-Total Solutions are offering nine free days of Training and nine heavily discounted days of Training to Volunteer Centers or Associations of Volunteer Administrators/DOVIAs in the USA in 2009.

What do these organizations get?

Offer One: Free Training Day

Nine US Volunteer Centers or DOVIAs/ Associations of Volunteer Administrators will get a free day of training. The content of which will be unchangeable. The content has been specifically developed by People First-Total Solutions for this Recession Busting series. It is outlined below. People First -Total Solutions will cover our travel to that city. The host organisation will cover ground costs, accommodation, meals and direct training costs such as venue hire, refreshments and handout printing. The trainer comes free, however!

 

 

 

Offer Two: Discounted Training Day

Nine organizations will get training at 50 per cent of our normal rates on any of our topics. In this case, the subject choice is completely yours. The host organisation will cover round trip travel from Chicago, ground costs, accommodation meals and direct training costs such as venue hire, refreshments and handout printing. The trainer comes at a 50% reduced fee, however!

There are four remaining on offer for training to be delivered in April, June and October, 2009

Is there a catch?

Yes. As part of the program, we will be setting aside some time to let people know about our company, our services and our Volunteer Program Assessments. This will be a 15 to 30 minute presentation which will be just interesting s the rest of the day. This gives us the chance to introduce ourselves to new audiences who may not know us.

 

The timings of the trainings will be subject to the availability of the People First-Total Solutions trainers.

Small Print:

2. The free offer is only available in the USA including Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska. It does not include Guam, American Samoa or any other territory or base. The half price offer includes every US State and Territory.
3. The offer is available to any DOVIA or Volunteer Center in the USA but not any other type of organization
4. There are nine free days and nine days of training being offered at 50% off our normal rates in 2009
5. In the spirit of fairness, each organization or city can have one free day only
6. There is a limit to the number of half price days of two per organization or location
7. There is no trainer fee for the free sessions. The fee for the 50% off days is 50% of the People First-Total Solutions published standard rate
8. The hosting organization (DOVIA or Volunteer Center) will pay for two nights accommodation, ground travel costs, meals and all expenses associated with the training event
9. There are no airfare costs for the Free Days. A round trip economy fare from Chicago will be calculated for the 50% days
10. The Free days have a fixed curriculum. For the 50% off Training Days, any topic from People First-Total Solutions curriculum can be chosen
11. Each party will agree to a standard People First-Total Solutions MOU
12. People First-Total Solutions will publicize their organization and their Volunteer Program Assessment product at the training
13. The training being delivered will be of People First -Total solutions normal high standard
14. The decisions by People First-Total Solutions in this matter are final
