Helping Individuals Succeed

There has been significant discussion in the media and community about "personal" or "life" coaching. Some of it sceptical- some glowing.

Coaching is a method of personal development where an individual meets with a "coach" who supports, encourages and challenges them.

Coaching is not counselling or advising. A coach helps people better manage and organise their present and future circumstances and achieve greater success because of the external perspective. Many people report significant success because of the assistance of a coach.

As you or your staff head toward 2006, coaching may be a helpful tool to plan life, relationships, career and business in 2006.

People First -Total Solutions offers coaching as one of our services. This coaching can be conducted over the phone or on a face to face basis worldwide.

We offer a range of coaching packages:

  • A single hour session to meet a specific challenge challenge
  • Three one-hour sessions -build new direction in key life area
  • Five one-hour sessions - tackle multiple issues
  • Ten one-hour sessions – create and solidify major life change

These packages can be easily purchased for yourself or as a gift for a relative or staff member and used anytime in 2006. Contact us for further information.

What is the measure?

Martin

Do you groan inwardly at yet another invitation to a seminar on success. Feel overwhelmed by the number of books on success in career, relationships, and home?

What is this thing called "success" anyway? How do you measure your "success"?

Material possessions?
Money?
Good Relationship?
Popularity?
Good looks

Furthermore, why do some people obsess about their personal "success" (or lack of it in these areas)? What about those people who seem to have no chance in achieving these ideas of success; -born in the wrong place at the wrong time? Are they "doomed to failure" before they start life?

While the world celebrates the “successful” movie stars, businesspeople and athletes, one wonders about the “quiet” success stories that take place every day in our cities, streets and schools. Those who overcome great odds, lead people to safety and make life a better and happier place.

Perhaps true success is making the best with what you have and contributing to a better planet? It is ancient wisdom that says "much will be expected of those who have much".

This needs to be at the forefront of our thinking as individuals, companies and not for profit organisations.

The film "A Beautiful Life" portrayed powerfully what man did to ensure his son was protected from the worst horrors of WW II. You may be familiar with the story of two very ill men who are hospitalised. If you click here. Well worth the 60 seconds it takes to read.

The Team and I look forward to assisting you to attain your success goals by helping create

effective people
better organisations
stronger society through our Coaching, Consulting and Training services.

All the very best to you Martin J Cowling, CEO
