Joan Cooney, annecto
Kerrie is fantastic in a workshop environment. Her style is superb and she is excellent in working with people.
Barbara Jakob, Bayside Environment Friends Network
Kerrie has been directly working in the community sector for more than a decade. She is committed to assisting the sector to develop and grow. This commitment was developed at an early age – living for many years in rural areas entrenched the realisation that a cohesive community develops when many people are connected and participating in the provision of services and local activities.
During the time working with the sector Kerrie has facilitated many workshops and developed appropriate training material and resources. The diversity of the material has included Board/Governance handbooks, successful development of volunteer programs, to guidelines for risk management, team work and code of conduct.
Kerrie has also worked closely with a number of organisations to review existing practices and develop new policies and procedures. These projects have ensured she remains connected to the day to day operations of community organisations.
Kerrie has been an online volunteer for many years with the volunteer management discussion groups, cybervpm and ozvpm. She is also a registered Personal Support volunteer with Red Cross.
